1. Registration/Login

You will decide in the login field whether or not you would like to register on our online store. When you register with us, you will benefit from the following options:

  • Faster payment for your next purchase
  • View the status of current orders
  • View order history
  • Manage your customer data
  • Produce a wish list
  • Activate news about your favourite labels
  • Change your password
  • Change billing address
  • Save different delivery addresses

As soon as you are registered with us, you can log in every time with your e-mail address and your password and complete your purchase. If you would like to log in as a guest, please fill in the required fields and click on “Continue”.
The system automatically determines the shipping method and shipping costs based on your delivery address.

2. Choosing a payment method

You have the option of paying for your purchase by immediate transfer (only for domestic customers), by PayPal and VISA or MasterCard credit card.

Paypal

  • You can pay really quickly and safely with the PayPal online payment service. As soon as you have a PayPal account, you can pay with two clicks using just your e-mail address and your password. Your bank and credit card details are safely deposited with PayPal and you do not need to send them again when shopping. Further information can be found at www.paypal.com.

Visa

  • You will need your credit card details and your Verified by Visa Password to place an order. Verified by Visa protects your cardholder details with a password and a personal security message. As only you know your password, nobody else will be able to use your Visa card at the participating retailers. Further information and how to activate Verified by Visa can be found on your bank’s home page or directly from Visa Card.

Mastercard

  • You will need your credit card details and the code generated via MasterCard ID Check to place an order. MasterCard ID Check is an authentication procedure for even safer shopping on the Internet. Further information and how to activate your MasterCard ID Check can be found on your bank’s home page or directly from MasterCard.

 3. Order overview

You will get an overview of your personal details in the order overview:

  • Please check your billing and delivery address. (Is the house number correct? Is the company name or the name on the bell missing?)
  • By clicking on “Change”, you will be able to correct your address details.
  • Before checkout, you can also change your payment method here.
  • If you have a voucher code, activate it in the corresponding input box.

Please confirm the General Terms & Conditions and cancellation policy and send your order to us by clicking on “Buy now”.

4. Payment process

You will be connected in the next step to an encrypted connection on the website of the selected payment provider.

  • please follow the instructions and enter your payment information
  • the security of your data is of the highest priority for us and our partner companies
  • all data are processed via an encrypted connection
  • the “two-factor authentication” provides greater security when shopping online
  • the 3D-secure process is compulsory for payments by credit card
  • You will find information on the authentication process on your bank’s website.

5. Order confirmation

Following a successful payment, you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. Please also check your spam folder if you can’t find the message in your Inbox.

Cancellation & Returns

Returns
If you do not like the item you have ordered or it does not fit, you can cancel the purchase agreement within 14 days.

  • Please send your cancellation notice by e-mail to retoure@aptefashion.com, or use the Cancellation Form.
  • To process your cancellation quickly, we will need your name, order number and the items you would like to return.
  • For returns, we will charge you the return fees charged by our DHL shipping service provider for handling & shipping amounting to €6.50 on a one-for-one basis.
  • We will immediately send you a DHL return label upon cancellation which you can either print out yourself or have printed out using a QR code at a DHL service point.
  • Returns can be handed in at any DHL branch throughout Germany.

Requirement for refunds

  • Please note that we can only take products (textiles, shoes and accessories) back that have been returned unworn and in perfect condition within the return period.
  • Our APTE seal and special replacement parts such as product packaging (e.g. buttons, shoe boxes, etc.) must be intact.

Returns from the EU

  • Unfortunately we cannot cover the costs for the return shipment for orders from the European Union.

Refunds

  • If you use our returns service with DHL within Germany, you can see whether your returned item has already reached us using your tracking number at www.dhl.de.
  • After checking the proper condition of the item and labels as well as the APTE seal, the value of your items will be credited within 10 days to your account, from which we received the payment.
  • If you activated your purchase with a voucher code, you will receive the refund for the amount actually paid, for which you were billed after using the voucher code.

Packaging & shipment

  • We will process and send your order from Monday to Saturday between 11 am and 7 pm.
  • Your order will be carefully and safely packed for you in a sturdy cardboard box or bubble bag.

Shipment tracking

  • As soon as your order is ready for collection, you will receive an e-mail message from DHL stating the shipment number of your package.
  • Please also check your spam folder if you do not find any message in your inbox.
  • You can check the shipment status after one to two hours using the link in your shipment notification, or go to www.dhl.de using your shipment number.

Change of delivery

Register for the DHL “Request delivery option:

DHL

  • The DHL “Request delivery” option is a service offer for the individual receipt of your package. Use the storage location or packing station, for example, if you’re not going to be at home. Your shipments will be delivered the way you want them.

Delivery

  • When you receive the package, check the packaging for any damage.
  • If the box or the packaging tape is no longer completely intact, or should there be signs that the package has already been opened, please refuse to accept it and also record this if possible on a photo and forward it to us

Cancellation right
Right to cancel according to Section 312g

Consumers in the EU have a 14-day cancellation right.
Cancellation right

You are entitled to cancel this agreement within fourteen days without stating the reasons.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the date on which you have, or a third party, who is not the carrier and is nominated by you, has taken possession of the first item.

To exercise your cancellation right, you must inform us (Aux Pieds de la Tour Eiffel GmbH, St. Johanner Markt 5, 66111 Saarbrücken) of your decision to cancel this agreement by a clear statement (e.g. by e-mail, or a letter sent by post).

You can use the Cancellation Form to do this, although this is not compulsory. All you have to do to meet the cancellation deadline is send a notification stating that you are exercising your right to cancel before the cancellation period ends.

You can request your DHL return stamp for cost-free returns within Germany via the DHL returns portal at retoure@aptefashion.com.

Please print the return stamp on a DIN A4 sheet and stick it on the original APTE box or have it printed out using the QR code at a DHL service point. Returns are free of charge for you and insured if you pack your return package correctly and send it back within Germany via the DHL returns portal.

Unfortunately, we cannot cover the costs of the return shipment for orders from the European Union. Please send the item back at your own expense with a shipping service provider of your choice to the following address:

Returns can be tracked at www.dhl.de with the corresponding shipment number. After checking the proper condition of the item, manufacturer’s packaging and replacement parts, as well as the APTE seal, the value of your items will be credited within 14 days to the account, from which we received payment.

Please note that we can only take products back that have been returned unused and in perfect condition. Our APTE seal, the manufacturer’s labels and specific replacement parts and product packaging (e.g. buttons, shoe boxes, etc.) must be intact.
Proper outer packaging and secure sealing of the package before shipping is a prerequisite for accepting your returns and at the same time prevents claims for damages in the event of damage to or loss of the item in transit.

Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel this agreement, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs incurred resulting from a different delivery method you have chosen from the cheapest standard delivery we offer), immediately and within fourteen days at the latest from the date on which we receive notification of your cancellation of this agreement. We will use the same payment method you used for the original transaction for this refund, unless otherwise expressly agreed with you; under no circumstances will you be charged any fees for this refund. We may refuse repayment until we have received the goods back and have checked them in accordance with our returns policy. You must return or hand over the items to us immediately and in any case within fourteen days at the latest from the date on which you instructed us to cancel this agreement. The deadline is deemed to have been met if you send the items back before the period of fourteen days. You only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value cannot be attributed to due to any unnecessary handling of them for checking the quality, properties and how the items work.

The right to cancel does not apply to distance selling contracts

  • for delivery of goods made according to customer specifications or which are clearly tailored to personal needs, have been ordered or are not suitable to be returned due to their quality.
  • for delivery outside the European Union. The costs incurred resulting from the refusal to accept a package from DHL, or cancellation after an order has been sent are charged in this case to the customer, including return costs and additional service costs of our shipping service provider.

aptefashion.com reserves the right to refuse to accept items that have been returned unauthorised and/or which fail to follow the instructions, or to send them back again to the address given on the order. Should a return such as this be accepted anyway, aptefashion.com will deduct 10% of the reimbursement as administrative costs.


aptefashion.com reserves the right not to accept returns which were not returned as agreed, should the acceptance incur additional costs for aptefashion.com or require collection from a branch of the courier. For return packages not packed properly, we reserve the right to refuse to accept them if necessary. The customer is liable for damage and loss of items in transit that have occurred due to improper or careless packaging of the returned item.
If a returned item is received, the contents of which do not correspond to the items stated on the cancellation, aptefashion.com reserves the right to demand sufficient evidence from the customer that the items had actually been sent.
Should the shipping process for the return need to be examined in agreement with aptefashion.com’s customer, we reserve the right to withhold payments already received until the examining company has issued a final statement and to refuse any refund, if appropriate, after examining the facts.


Warranty/guarantee conditions, ODR Regulation

The Aux Pieds de la Tour Eiffel GmbH is liable for material and legal defects according to the legal regulations that apply to this, in particular Sections 434 ff. German Civil Code. The limitation period for statutory claims for defects is two years and begins when the goods are delivered.

There are statutory warranty rights for all items from our shop. Please send any enquiries regarding a complaint by e-mail to onlinestore@aptefashion.com. For faster processing, please state your name, order number and a short description of the defect, ideally with photographic evidence.
